According to Dr. Naveen Uli, a pediatric endocrinologist and medical Director of the Healthy Kids, Healthy Weight Program at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies Children’s Hospital, kids need to be active outdoors.
Mother Nature would like to offer you a tip, one parent to another: Get the kids outdoors.
A family trip to a park, forest or trail is a great way to get everyone moving and help youngsters embrace physical activity. With many kids struggling to control their weight, outdoor pursuits can be a fun and effective solution.

As you know, we’ve introduced the latest and greatest to our kitchen line: The BabyBjörn Cup.
Like all of our products, the cup was developed in close collaboration with pediatricians, industrial designers, parents and children. You can eliminate spills, and perhaps tears, because of the cup’s unique design which helps minimize spills with a low center of gravity, wide base and rubber stripping on the bottom. A rimmed edge at the bottom of the cup also prevents it from falling over easily when bumped and pushed. No more crying over spilled milk in your family!

Fall is here and it’s the perfect weather to keep baby outdoors. In our most recent survey we asked you what you like to do with baby. Here’s what you said:
-
Enjoy nature, play outside and take walks.
Playing, singing... Going outside for a walk or to the park to sit under a tree...
- We go on a 3 mile walk every day together with her in the Bjorn. I talk, sing and whistle for her.

For those of you who completed the survey last month, thank you so much for your participation! We appreciate your feedback and personal experiences.
We’d like to address one of our survey questions that asked if you hear negative comments about BabyBjörn. Some of you said negative comments typically pertain to hip and spine dysplasia and back discomfort.
We want to assure you that all BabyBjörn products are safe for you and your child. There is no evidence or reported cases that indicate front carriers can cause hip dysplasia. To avoid any problems, parents should look for a baby carrier that positions baby with infant’s hips abducted (legs spread). BabyBjörn carriers do just that.
