Fall is here and it’s the perfect weather to keep baby outdoors. In our most recent survey we asked you what you like to do with baby. Here’s what you said:
-
Enjoy nature, play outside and take walks.
-
Playing, singing... Going outside for a walk or to the park to sit under a tree...
-
We go on a 3 mile walk every day together with her in the Bjorn. I talk, sing and whistle for her.
-
When baby is crying too much at night place some lavender, just a little, on your sheets. It scents up the room and magically baby gets sleepy.
-
Zoo, park, swim and snuggle.
-
Music time! We get out the drums and shakers and have a family dance party. My baby and my three year old love music time.
-
Playing hide and seek and reading books.
-
(4 month old): sitting up with support; standing with a lot of help; I put my hands above his feet and say, "Feet in Hands", he places his feet in my hands and then I make a big deal about his accomplishment; I place my hand above his chest with "shaka" fingers (thumb, index and pinky extended) and say, "grab the bull by the horns," He grabs my index and pinky fingers and we celebrate.
-
Taking walks and pointing out all of the things we see. My son loves to be facing out in the carrier so that he can see the world and express himself.
-
Create pillow obstacle courses for my toddler inside when it's too hot to go out to the park.
